What a joy it was to meet Frida and AJ – and what an honour to be their wedding planner. They contacted me from Qatar, where they live, and I was immediately captivated by their story. She’s Swedish, he’s American – and they had a baby on the way just a few months later. We first met on a video call in August 2022, and from that moment, we never lost touch. There was always a great connection with them and a fantastic sense of collaboration. They had planned a tour of Sicily in search of the perfect venue and, on my advice, chose Villa Hamalia – a location in the province of Messina with a breathtaking view of the sea. From there, it was a crescendo of emotions – from the birth of little Adelina to our first official meeting the day before the wedding.

Not even the thunderstorm – a downpour right as Frida was making her entrance – could dampen our spirits. Thanks to their spontaneity and the composure of the entire team, we were able to enjoy a wonderful day. The party ended the next day with a pool party with music and lots of fun. Three unforgettable days for a fabulous couple.
